CHRISTMAS CALENDER

In Germany we have the tradition to gift on the 1st of December a Christmas Calendar. Usually for Children it contains behind each door on the calendar which you can open a peace of chocolate or a nice picture related to the Christmas story. Some people ad for each day a little sock in which is a tiny present. All to shorten or amuse the waiting for Christmas Eve with the Christmas tree and the hopefully fantastic gift for children. My son is far away from me and also he doesn't need this attention anymore. But: my husband is worth having one!
My story for each day is a sketch of what we share together in love: supporting each other, hiking, laugh, cook... together, care for each other. These cards are wrapped in a coloured origami paper with the number of the day, waiting to take out of its stand. Each piece is a part of a jigsaw puzzle on its back side and it will fit in a plate to remind us of the future to share.
